Gigantic Garage Sale

The Carleton Place Farmers Market is proud to host the First Annual Gigantic Garage Sale.  The event will allow residents and prospective buyers to meet at one location (the CPFM site on Beckwith Street) to buy, sell and trade household items.  Partial proceeds from this event will go to the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Carleton Place Farmers Market Grand Opening

The CPFM’s Grand Opening will bring together music and fun with the first crops of the 2010 growing season.  Come on out and enjoy the free cake, entertainment and all the Market has to offer.

2nd Annual Chili Cook Off
 
On Saturday, September 11th, 2010 , the vendors of the Carleton Place Farmers Market would like to invite all area restaurants or residents to participate in our 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off.
 
Local judges will be awarding prizes for Best Restaurant Chilli, Best Individual Chili, Best Chili Made with Local Ingredients. Hottest Chili and Best Vegetarian Chili. Winners will be announced on the Carleton Place Farmers Market Homepage (www.cpfm.ca) and in local papers.
 
Bring a crock pot of your best chili and some small cups and spoons for sampling. There will be a registration fee of $5.00, 100% of which will go to the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital . 
 
The set up time is 10:00 AM and the judging will start at 10:30. Be creative and have fun.
